THE FLOORS OF THE MAIN INSIDE AREA HAVE NOW BEEN PAINTED AND TREATED
ROLLER SHUTTERS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED FOR SECURITY
GRASS HAS BEEN LAID IN THE CAR PARK AREA IN BETWEEN THE CONCRETE BUFFERS TO REFLECT HEAT AWAY FROM THE ASPHALT, BE SOFTER UNDER FOOT AND MORE ATTRACTIVE TO THE EYE
GRASS HAS ALSO BEEN LAID AROUND THE CAFE AREA
GARDENS AND PLANTS ARE GROWING WELL AND WATER FEATURES ARE UP AND RUNNING

CUSTOMERS PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE SPRINKLERS WILL COME ON IN THE NURSERY AT LUNCHTIMES IN SUMMER, IF THE WEATHER BECOMES TOO HOT . IT IS IMPORTANT THE PLANTS DON’T BECOME STRESSED AND ITS OUR POLICY TO ONLY SELL YOU PLANTS IN PREMIUM CONDITION. THE STATIONS RUN ON ON A TEN MINUTE TIMER. WE TRY AND ADVISE PEOPLE WHO ARE ON THE PREMISES IF THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN. WE APOLOGISE FOR THIS INCONVENIENCE .

We have had a good response from our customers to the introduction of our Plastic Bag and Newspaper recycling bins located in the shop by the cash registers. Feel free to donate surplus bags or newspapers you have at home or you are welcome to use the bags donated by other people to carry plants in or use the newspaper as a boot protector in your car. Keep up the great work and lets all start recycling to help the environment
CARPARK UNDER CONSTRUCTION!

Work has begun on sealing the carpark at our new premises on Alexander Drive. The bitumen is being laid and the concrete curbing was completed last week. Its great to see progress happening and work chugging along.
RIP Missy the cat

Sadly we pass on to all our customers the sad news that our dear, friendly, black and white, Garden Centre resident cat, Missy passed away on the 8th January 2013. She was 18 years young. Fondly loved and missed by the owners, staff and customers.
A memorial cross has been put in the nursery in one of her favourite resting spots under the shade of the big tree on the brick wall behind the seedlings.
